Programme/Project Management.
Subsequently, George gained an impressive list of professional achievements and
was the author of many governance based articles for IT and Audit publications.
He is also a renowned speaker for the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF).
Over the last 10 years George has worked with clients on Programme and Project
Management. He programme managed the achievement of ISO 20000 for a global
telecoms provider on what was the largest IT project in Europe. He has also
developed further experience concerning; Audit, Due Diligence, training and
consultancy, Venture Capital Portfolio Risk Management, Programme Management,
Off-shore Consultancy, Legal Mediation, ITIL and Telecommunications, ISO
Standards implementation, International Business Development, Business Process
Re-engineering, and Strategic Business Planning.
His appointment, as the new ACPA and ACCEA Executive Chairman and CEO, is the
result of a unanimous decision by the Board of Governance, which marks the
conclusion of a long search to find the right person to continue the successful
journey started by our outgoing Chairman Robert Collings.
On behalf of all the Members we congratulate George on his appointment and
welcome him to ACPA.
Although we are all delighted to welcome our new Executive Chairman and CEO, it
is with some sadness that we have to say farewell to our outgoing Chairman
Robert Collings. Robert has been instrumental in developing the success of
ACPA, and although he will be greatly missed we wish him a wonderful retirement
and many pleasant days sailing."
